Miami was bustling with art, raves, educational immersions and networking all throughout Art Week as we witnessed tens of thousands of people share life-changing experiences during the biggest intersection of art, music and entertainment in the world. While the majority of by-passers visited art galleries during the day and spent hours around their favorite coveted artists, attendees searching for more anticipated the fairy-tale nightlife aurora that the week-long celebration brings to Miami. Network becomes your net worth during the no-boundaries celebration where you can find yourself at unfathomably brilliant RSVP events just by making new friends and taking detours. It’s easy to get lost on the conveyor belt of endless parties - you have to choose your itinerary wisely, as time, traffic and Lyft fees pile up against you. In the midst of all the Miami ruckus, SUPERF3ST in partnership with Party Degens, SPIN, Teremana Tequila, Truly Vodka Seltzer and 100 Coconuts Water hosted an electric mansion function on a Friday night that would have made Tony Montana proud.
‘The World Is Yours’, introduced its guests to Hibiscus Island, a neighborhood in the city of Miami Beach on a man-made island in Biscayne Bay, Florida. The 3 level private mansion with a rooftop view was a visually stunning display of modern, contemporary minimalist design that felt erringly similar to a movie set from a 1980’s classic. A night of networking, dancing, drinks and human connection lit up the neighborhood, pushing the boundaries of midnight socializing. A few digital displays at the entrance and right by the shimmering indoor pool displayed artwork by various new-age artists Alienqueen, Probcause, Post Wook, Lindsey Price, Charlotte Mckinney, PLS&TY, Nonvisuals, Davidminor, JSKY, Kira Bursky, Modernist, FLWRS. Body painted performers on stilts perplexed the crowd while DJ performances by Coco & Breezy, Gianni Lee, Young & Sick, M!NT, B2B Jasmine Solano carried the ambience. SUPERF3ST also fit in special performances by X&ND, Weed The Wizard and Good News Bas to further push the entertainment experience.
A mermaid could be found on the rooftop, occupying the pool alongside the socialites. One could easily confuse this scene with a distant memory from an old fairy tale. Eats could be enjoyed alongside the view the mansion offered. The atmosphere created a place for creators and artists to connect and develop valuable relationships. SUPERF3ST is a primitive, innovative and early example of Web 3 being used as event technology. The augmentation adds un-imaginable value to the social ecosystem and births a plethora of potential opportunities for aspiring, creative entrepreneurs. Web 3 has introduced the internet renaissance to the world as decentralization, digital ownership, data regulation, art and technology become more sought after and at the same time, patronized. It is up to establishments like SUPERF3ST to uphold and evolve the benefits this technological advancement allows for. SUPERF3ST made for a premier Basel experience, displaying all of the elements that curated experience-seekers search for in major social productions.
